A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner for the NY jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a capped caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations
• Ensure adherence to New York workers' compensation laws, including timely filing of reports and benefit payments
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority to reach resolution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of workers' compensation claims handling experience
• Experience with New York jurisdictional regulations and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant certifications are a plus
• Strong understanding of claims processes and legal requirements in New York
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
