New York Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Responsible for the prompt review and examination of claims, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Examiner will manage coverage determinations and investigations for commercial auto and general liability claims in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and interpret policy coverage, investigating and evaluating assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee outside investigative service providers and collaborate with clients and legal representatives to resolve claims effectively
• Prepare comprehensive Loss Reports analyzing coverage, liability, and damages while maintaining accurate documentation of all claim activities

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in automobile and general liability claims
• Knowledge of claims handling concepts, litigation management, and coverage issues
• Possession of a New York State Adjuster License is required
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to claims processing
