New York Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To analyze and adjudicate complex customer claims, the full-time remote New York Licensed Claims Examiner will utilize their General Liability and litigated claims expertise while ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to achieve appropriate resolutions
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority and communicating claim activity to claimants and clients
• Reporting claims to excess carriers and responding to inquiries professionally and promptly

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Home State License and ability to obtain New York licensing is required
