Job Summary
Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, with the flexibility to work remotely or hybrid if within commutable distance to Syracuse, NY.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing and processing claims to ensure timely resolution through investigation and information gathering
- Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
- Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients
Required qualifications
- 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Knowledge of New York jurisdiction required
- New York licensing required
