Job Summary
Analyzing workers' compensation claims for clients, the full-time remote New York Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients to ensure timely resolutions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing and processing claims to achieve appropriate and timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
- Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
- Communicating claim activity and processing details with claimants and clients
Required qualifications
- 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- New York License required
