Job Summary

Investigating and resolving complex construction claims, the fully remote Senior Commercial Construction Claims Specialist will conduct detailed analyses, negotiate settlements, and mentor lower-level adjusters while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to investigate claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies
• Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters, negotiating settlements with involved parties
• Document and communicate claim activity efficiently, coaching and mentoring junior adjusters as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma
• 7 or more years of related claims experience at a senior adjuster level
• Active adjusters' licenses in all states where claims are handled
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with claims and business software
