New York Licensed Clinical Director

Job Summary

Leading a state-based mental health practice, the full-time New York Licensed Clinical Director will manage clinical operations, drive utilization, and build a high-performing team of therapists and psychiatrists while maintaining clinical supervision and oversight in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations for a pod of 30-50 clinical FTEs, providing supervision and mentorship to staff
• Drive patient access and operational performance, ensuring high utilization rates and managing referral flow
• Implement innovative programs and maintain clinical quality while achieving revenue growth and operational targets

Required qualifications

• Active clinical license (LCSW, or PhD/PsyD) with board-approved supervisor designation and Medicaid enrollment
• 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings
• 3+ years of leadership experience in clinical operations or practice management
• Experience in pediatric or adolescent mental health settings
• Strong business acumen with proficiency in data management and analytics
