New York Licensed Clinical Director

Job Summary

Leading a state-based mental health practice, the full-time New York Licensed Clinical Director will manage clinical operations, drive utilization, and build a high-performing team of therapists and psychiatrists while maintaining clinical supervision, in a hybrid role requiring presence in the Westchester/Long Island/NYC area.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 30-50 clinical FTEs, providing board-approved supervision and fostering a culture of clinical excellence
• Manage patient intake, scheduling efficiency, and referral flow to optimize clinical fit and reduce no-shows
• Drive operational performance, including utilization targets and revenue growth, while maintaining high clinical quality

Required qualifications

• Active clinical license (LCSW, PhD, or PsyD) with board-approved supervisor designation and Medicaid enrollment
• 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health or behavioral health settings
• 3+ years of leadership experience in clinical operations or practice management
• Experience in pediatric or adolescent mental health settings
• Strong business acumen with proficiency in data management and analytics
