Job Summary
Leading a state-based mental health practice, the full-time New York Licensed Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, drive utilization, and build a high-performing team while maintaining clinical supervision, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring residency in the Westchester/Long Island/NYC area.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a pod of 30-50 clinical staff, providing board-approved supervision and fostering a culture of clinical excellence
- Drive patient intake processes, optimize scheduling efficiency, and enhance referral flow to increase visit volume and revenue
- Implement innovative programs and monitor clinical outcomes to ensure high-quality care delivery
Required qualifications:
- Active clinical license (LCSW, PhD, or PsyD) with board-approved supervisor designation and Medicaid enrollment
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health or behavioral health settings
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in clinical operations or practice management
- Experience in pediatric or adolescent mental health settings
- Strong business acumen with proficiency in data management and analytics
