Job Summary

Empowering individuals grappling with mental illness, the part-time PRN New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker will conduct face-to-face clinical assessments in various settings across Queens, utilizing state and internal systems to support admissions into transitional adult homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and deliver accurate diagnoses of psychological and behavioral issues
• Utilize knowledge of psychiatric disorders and standards of practice to determine appropriate levels of care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and office staff to streamline workflows and ensure effective communication

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience assessing individuals with mental and psychiatric disorders
• Must possess an unrestricted active LCSW or RN license for New York State
• Bona fide resident of the State of New York with a valid driving license in good standing
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in medical record abstraction and understanding of medical terminology and disease processes
