A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel - U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners
• Collaborate with sales, business development, and operations teams to support high-growth go-to-market strategies
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to data protection and AI, applying this knowledge to contracts and risk assessments

Required Qualifications

• JD with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York preferred)
• 6-12 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house with technology or SaaS companies
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property
• Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues
