New York Licensed Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Commercial Counsel, this full-time remote position will manage the negotiation of MSAs and NDAs, oversee contract administration, and develop legal strategies related to AI and data privacy while building a new commercial legal function.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate MSAs and NDAs with enterprise customers from initial redline to signature
- Develop and maintain negotiation playbooks and oversee contract management processes
- Advise on legal issues involving AI, data privacy, and intellectual property within agreements
Required qualifications
- 4-7 years of commercial contracting experience with significant enterprise SaaS exposure
- Demonstrated ownership of complex commercial negotiations, including data security and AI-specific provisions
- Deep understanding of privacy, IP, and AI regulatory regimes
- Experience in legal tech, compliance software, or regulated enterprise SaaS preferred
- JD required; bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction required
