Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the part-time New York Licensed Commercial Counsel will negotiate and execute contracts, enhance processes, and collaborate with commercial teams in a remote-friendly environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Guide commercial teams through the lifecycle of deals, from initiating contracts to closing agreements
- Develop and improve contract management processes and best practices
- Evaluate legal options to meet company and business unit needs
Required qualifications:
- Law degree (JD or equivalent) from a top law school and a valid New York license to practice
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in drafting and negotiating business contracts
- Strong passion for commercial contracts and a desire to develop negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
