New York Licensed Complex Liability Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing high-exposure general liability and excess liability claims, the full-time remote New York Licensed Complex Liability Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims while collaborating with defense counsel, insureds, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability and Excess Liability claims, including high-exposure bodily injury and litigated matters
• Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective claim strategies
• Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel, overseeing all aspects from pleadings to trial preparation

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience handling complex, high-exposure General Liability and/or Excess Liability claims
• Active New York Adjuster license required, along with Resident or Non-Resident State Licensing
• Demonstrated experience managing litigated casualty claims from inception through resolution
• Strong knowledge of liability coverage, tort law, and claims handling best practices
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
