Specializing in complex claims, the full-time New York Licensed Complex Loss Specialist will manage high exposure losses requiring advanced technical expertise and negotiation skills, providing analysis and strategic recommendations to senior executives while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex claims by securing statements, documentation, and expert reports to assess liability and coverage
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, underwriting teams, and agents to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims
• Prepare written reports and provide regular updates on claim status while adhering to Fair Claims Practices guidelines

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of claims experience, particularly in complex claims
• Active New York adjuster's license required
• College degree or equivalent claims management experience necessary
• Preferred minimum of 10 years litigation management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
