New York Licensed Complex Loss Specialist

Job Summary

Specializing in complex claims, the full-time New York Licensed Complex Loss Specialist will adjust high exposure losses, provide analysis and presentations to senior executives, and lead strategic discussions, while working onsite or remotely as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and document facts of complex loss claims, including securing statements and supporting documentation
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and underwriting teams
• Evaluate claims, set reserves, and provide regular updates to insureds, claimants, and underwriters on file status

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of claims experience, with a focus on complex claims
• Active New York adjusters license required
• College degree or equivalent claims management experience necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum of 10 years litigation management experience preferred
