Job Summary
To launch Allara's Psychiatry Service Line, the part-time Consulting Psychiatrist will develop clinical protocols, supervise PMHNPs, and treat patients experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop clinical protocols for psychiatric treatment and safety protocols for behavioral health
- Allocate time to treat patients and provide supervision and case consultations
- Participate in hiring processes for psychiatric nurse practitioners
Required qualifications
- Active board certification in Psychiatry through ABPN or AOBNP
- An active, unrestricted medical license in California, Florida, New York, or Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience as a psychiatrist, focusing on outpatient care
- Experience treating conditions at the intersection of hormonal and mental health
- Experience supervising or collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners or advanced practice providers
