New York Licensed Contract Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a New York Licensed Contract Attorney with over 5 years of experience, the fully remote position will manage and negotiate technology and data privacy agreements, providing legal support to various business teams while ensuring compliance with data protection laws.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts focused on software, technology, data licensing, and e-commerce agreements
• Develop and implement privacy and data security policies to maintain compliance with relevant laws
• Advise on marketing initiatives and governance issues related to emerging technologies, including generative AI and NFTs

Required qualifications:

• JD with a license in New York (or reciprocity) required
• 5+ years of relevant attorney-level experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience with alcohol beverage and/or consumer or ad technology products law preferred
• CIPP/US Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws, data privacy and security laws, and experience in drafting technology-related agreements
