New York Licensed Contract Attorney

Job Summary

Supporting the workflows of a corporate private funds practice group, the temporary New York Licensed Contract Attorney will assist in drafting and negotiating documents, including fund side letter agreements, while working remotely on a long-term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate various fund-related documents, including feeder fund formation documents and agreements
• Review and analyze compliance and filing obligations of past fund documents
• Manage client communications and understand complex client entity networks

Required qualifications

• Admittance to the New York State Bar
• Experience in private funds or corporate law
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents related to fund operations
• Strong understanding of compliance and filing obligations in fund management
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively
