New York Licensed Contracts Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NY Barred Contracts Attorney (temporary).

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on and draft, review, and negotiate subrecipient agreements and contracts related to federal/state/local grants
• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate commercial contracts and vendor agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements
• Conduct regulatory research and draft legal memoranda

Qualifications and Experience

• Member of the New York bar in good standing (or eligible for immediate membership)
• Ability to work remotely and reside within commuting distance of Lower Manhattan
• 3+ years' experience working in-house, at a law firm, or government agency
• Expertise in federal grants (especially HHS) and government contracting (Uniform Guidance/2 CFR 200, NY State contracting requirements)
• Familiarity with MS Office suite
