New York Licensed Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Controller (Remote 15-20 Hours per Week).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accrual-based financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal management reporting requirements
• Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for audits and liaise with external auditors to resolve findings and inquiries
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial leadership roles with small companies
• CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience with accrual method of accounting and financial audits
