Job Summary

To support a fast-growing holding company, the hybrid Controller will serve as the CEO's primary financial partner, managing financial strategy, budgeting, and cash flow while leading a capable finance team and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning while managing banking and debt relationships
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate financials and strong internal controls across multiple legal entities
• Develop and implement financial systems and processes to support the company's growth and operational needs

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller or Director of Finance, with both strategic and hands-on accounting experience
• Experience in multi-entity accounting and consolidation
• Strong command of cash management and working capital in inventory-heavy businesses
• Startup or high-growth experience with a focus on building structure from scratch
• CPA designation preferred
