Job Summary

A company is looking for an Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Associate.

Responsibilities

• Manage entity formation and setup for emerging companies
• Oversee equity and debt financings, including structuring and negotiation
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with strong academic credentials
• 2-8 years of experience at a law firm with an Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) or similar practice group, or in-house experience with a technology company
• Membership in the New York State Bar is preferred but not required if admitted in another jurisdiction
• Knowledge and experience in Web3 and blockchain technologies are preferred but not required
