New York Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a New York Licensed Corporate Counsel, the part-time role will provide legal advice on compliance, corporate governance, and contract management while working remotely and supporting the company's growth and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic legal partner on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret various commercial agreements
• Support board and investor governance matters, including preparation of board materials

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar
• 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to commercial contracts and technology transactions
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Experience advising companies in regulated industries, such as fintech or SaaS
• New York or California Bar membership
