Job Summary

A company is looking for a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist to support the social and emotional needs of students in nonpublic schools in New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Create tools, resource materials, and professional development materials for the curriculum for children with Autism
• Collaborate with school staff and serve as a liaison to ensure positive outcomes for learners
• Design and implement school-based programs aligned with the CASEL Framework for social and emotional learning

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience in K-12 education, school counseling, social work, or a related field preferred
• Experience with curriculum and content development within the social emotional learning space
• Experience working with children with special needs, specifically Autism
• Knowledge of behavioral methodology and techniques for students with emotional/behavioral challenges
• Experience in training and coaching staff preferred
