Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time New York Licensed Customer Care Representative will manage inquiries and resolve issues from insureds and carriers regarding coverage, claims, and billing while contributing to business retention efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls, documenting interactions according to department protocols
- Provide accurate information to insureds and conduct research as needed to resolve questions or issues
- Obtain comparative quotes for personal lines insurance and audit insurance applications for accuracy
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two or more years of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
