New York Licensed Cybersecurity Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the fully remote Senior Cyber Incident Response Attorney will manage incident responses for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, oversee breach response work, and interact with senior management at client companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents
• Draft legal notices of data breaches and respond to regulatory investigations
• Advise clients on handling cybersecurity incidents from start to finish

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited Law School
• Admission to Bar in good standing
• 8+ years of legal experience, with 5+ years in data privacy and security
• Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, CCPA, etc.)
• IT or technical background is a plus
