New York Licensed DBT Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time New York Licensed DBT Specialist will provide psychotherapy services, serve as a DBT Clinical Group Specialist, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy and conduct comprehensive intake assessments
• Serve as a clinical resource for DBT-informed treatment approaches and support clinician development related to DBT care
• Participate in supervision groups, trainings, and interdisciplinary case discussions to enhance clinical excellence

Required qualifications

• Active New York State License (LCSW/LMHC) and certifications in DBT modalities
• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience providing psychotherapy to diverse patient populations
• Minimum of 3 years of combined training and practice in DBT psychotherapy
• Experience facilitating group therapy for adult patients is required
