Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time New York Licensed DBT Specialist will provide psychotherapy services, serve as a DBT Clinical Group Specialist, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy and conduct comprehensive intake assessments
- Serve as a clinical resource for DBT-informed treatment approaches and support clinician development related to DBT care
- Participate in supervision groups, trainings, and interdisciplinary case discussions to enhance clinical excellence
Required qualifications
- Active New York State License (LCSW/LMHC) and certifications in DBT modalities
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience providing psychotherapy to diverse patient populations
- Minimum of 3 years of combined training and practice in DBT psychotherapy
- Experience facilitating group therapy for adult patients is required
