New York Licensed EVP, Commercial Transactions

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EVP, Commercial & Technology Transactions, Legal & Business Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and finalize agreements related to content distribution and licensing
• Provide strategic advice and oversee agreements for senior stakeholders across various divisions
• Manage senior attorneys in transactional verticals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• JD; admission to state Bar (preferably NY)
• At least 10 years of supervisory experience of high-performing legal teams
• A minimum of 20 years of legal experience, with 15 years in the entertainment industry
• At least 5 years of commercial transactional drafting and negotiation experience in media and technology
• Experience with Most Favored Nations provisions
