Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Commercial Lines Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate new submissions and renewal accounts to determine risk acceptability
• Communicate underwriting standards and coverage advantages to agents and internal partners
• Manage a high-volume agency assignment and execute action plans to improve the book of business

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriting preferred
• Strong knowledge of General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Property, and Commercial Auto lines
• Proven track record in underwriting and portfolio management in the middle market segment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
