Job Summary
To support the Staten Island Abusive Partner Intervention Program, a part-time New York Licensed Facilitator will provide educational services to participants, guiding them through a curriculum focused on accountability and the impact of violence, while working remotely for 6 hours per week during evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessment and orientation sessions for program participants
- Co-facilitate themed batterer intervention sessions using various educational tools
- Maintain participant attendance and conduct necessary tests as required
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in social services preferred
- Completion of qualified training in domestic violence or criminal justice, or 100 hours of internship training at an EAC site
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database software
- Knowledge of local criminal justice and treatment systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
