New York Licensed Financial Controller

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting operations, the full-time New York Licensed Financial Controller will manage accounting records, ensure compliance with regulations, publish financial statements, and analyze financial data in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce internal controls to protect assets
• Coordinate and execute external audits with independent auditors
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 10+ years of accounting experience with supervisory roles
• CPA and/or MBA preferred, along with public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Experience in gaming, hospitality, or construction preferred
