New York Licensed Financial Director

Job Summary

Overseeing all accounting and financial operations, the full-time New York Licensed Financial Director will manage an offshore accounting team, lead local finance and HR functions, and ensure compliance while building scalable systems and infrastructure in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations, including AR, AP, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Build and manage a high-performing offshore accounting and administrative team, ensuring accountability and performance
• Oversee HR administration, legal coordination, insurance management, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of finance, accounting, or operational leadership experience
• Prior experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar senior leadership role
• Strong experience leading multi-person accounting and administrative teams
• Proven ability to build and manage offshore/remote teams
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance
