New York Licensed Foreclosure Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated New York Licensed Foreclosure Attorney, the full-time remote position will manage court appearances, draft complex motions, and maintain communication with clients and court personnel to ensure effective foreclosure case resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Appear in Supreme, Surrogates, and Federal Court to argue motions and participate in mediations related to foreclosure and default services matters
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investors, and adversaries to ensure timely progress of foreclosure cases
• Draft and manage the preparation of complex motions and oversee the work of paralegals to ensure quality and accuracy of legal documents

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience handling foreclosure matters in New York State
• Admitted to practice in New York; EDNY and SDNY admission is a plus
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills focused on complex motions
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with the ability to guide support staff effectively
