Job Summary

Seeking a part-time New York Licensed Group Leader for the Choose Your Own Pace: Hiking the Adirondacks program in North River, NY, who will manage logistics, deliver educational content, and ensure a meaningful experience for participants while hiking up to 10 miles daily on varied terrain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all logistics, including participant orientation and liaising with local guides
• Oversee daily program activities, ensuring educational delivery and addressing participant needs
• Facilitate communication and resolve on-site issues while maintaining program quality and budget

Required qualifications

• New York Licensed Group Leader Certificate or extensive professional tourism experience
• Ability to hike at least 10 miles on varied terrain and manage climbs of 2,000 ft
• Group leadership experience in educational or travel programs, preferably with older adults
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a van for program activities
