Job Summary

New York Licensed Health Educator, seeking a full-time professional to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed services, including case management and health education, to immigrant survivors of torture and human rights violations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management and care coordination for clients, ensuring comprehensive support for their needs
  • Conduct intake assessments, manage client referrals, and develop trauma-informed treatment interventions
  • Organize and facilitate health education and wellness groups to promote overall well-being
Required Qualifications
  • LMSW or MSW with intent to obtain licensure within 6 months
  • 1-2 years of experience in trauma-informed counseling and case management for vulnerable populations preferred
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector related to human rights, global health, or immigration preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; additional languages a plus
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and commitment to ethical standards in patient care
