Job Summary
To support a high-performing team, the full-time New York Licensed Inside Broker will manage a book of commercial casualty business, providing technical expertise and customer service while working remotely or onsite in New York.
Key responsibilities
- Market, quote, negotiate, and bind new and renewal commercial casualty business
- Analyze submissions to determine appropriate markets, pricing, coverage, and terms
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and develop new carrier partnerships
Required qualifications
- Active State Property & Casualty license and/or Surplus Lines license
- 3+ years of wholesale casualty insurance brokerage experience
- Strong background in Commercial Casualty placements
- Proven negotiation skills with insurance carriers and wholesale markets
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
