New York Licensed Insurance Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Representative - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Sells multi-carrier insurance products through telephone marketing and sales
• Explains coverage options and makes recommendations to clients
• Calculates quotes and manages insurance applications while maintaining product knowledge

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the insurance industry or equivalent education/experience
• Prior experience in a professional sales environment
• Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software
• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is required
