Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Institutional Review Board (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Directs and organizes the activities of the institutional review board (IRB) and oversees the research protocol submission and review process
• Advises investigators on research conduct and prepares reports for federal and state agencies regarding IRB decisions
• Evaluates and implements improvements in IRB operational procedures and develops educational programs for staff and the research community

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in research and compliance
• 7+ years of leadership/management experience
• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) expected within one year of job acceptance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
