New York Licensed Lead Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time New York Licensed Lead Engineer to manage high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage transmission and distribution line designs for the electric utility industry, working remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop engineering documents and support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee capital project engineering performance across all phases, including scoping, budgeting, design, and construction
• Perform field circuit reviews and identify proposed improvements based on project scope
• Create engineering bid documents and interface with construction resources to ensure efficient equipment installations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical distribution projects
• Professional Engineering License preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP and Primavera is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams
