Job Summary

New York Licensed Legal Counsel, seeking a part-time attorney with extensive music industry experience to independently manage complex legal matters and support deal execution in music, publishing, and digital media operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex music and digital media agreements
• Manage deal flow and serve as a primary legal partner to internal teams across multiple business units
• Identify legal risks and provide practical guidance to mitigate exposure while supporting dispute prevention

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (active and in good standing)
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience practicing law, with strong law firm experience in music-related agreements
• Demonstrated experience with record labels, music publishers, and/or digital media companies
• Strong working knowledge of music industry practices and copyright principles
