New York Licensed Legal Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Legal Counsel, the full-time position will provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions, technology initiatives, and compliance matters while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, cloud services, and technology procurement contracts
- Advise on privacy, data governance, and cybersecurity matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Partner with various business teams to support strategic technology initiatives and develop governance policies for AI and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing of at least one U.S. State Bar
- 3-5 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Significant experience negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
- Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
