Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Litigation Associate, the full-time remote position will involve managing a caseload of New York Labor Law and general liability matters, including drafting motions, conducting depositions, and assisting with trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage an assigned caseload of New York Labor Law and general liability matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct and defend depositions, attend court conferences, and participate in mediations and trial preparation
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Currently admitted to practice in New York
- 3-7 years of litigation experience, particularly with New York Labor Law claims
- Demonstrated experience with motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
