New York Licensed Litigation Associate
Job Summary
To support a growing insurance defense practice, the full-time New York Licensed Litigation Associate will manage a caseload of New York Labor Law and general liability matters, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court while working remotely and attending in-person court appearances as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage assigned cases from inception to resolution, with partner guidance as needed
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents while preparing for depositions and trial
- Collaborate with partners to develop case strategy and communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Current admission to practice in New York
- 3-7 years of litigation experience, particularly with New York Labor Law claims
- Demonstrated experience in motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
