Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate insurance applications to determine risk and make approval decisions
• Classify morbidity risk based on medical information and adhere to underwriting guidelines
• Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility and compliance procedures while maintaining productivity levels

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, BS, RN, or equivalent insurance industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of LTC underwriting experience or equivalent life, disability, or health insurance underwriting experience
• Solid understanding of risk factors related to morbidity risk management
• Knowledge of medical terminology or medical evaluation
• Proficient PC skills and strong organizational abilities
