Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate insurance applications to determine risk and make approval decisions
• Classify morbidity risk based on medical information and maintain adherence to underwriting guidelines
• Respond to inquiries and appeals regarding eligibility, policies, and underwriting compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a background in BS, RN, or equivalent insurance experience
• A minimum of 3 years of LTC underwriting experience or related insurance underwriting experience
• Solid understanding of morbidity risk management factors
• Knowledge of medical terminology or medical evaluation
• Proficient PC skills and strong organizational abilities
