Job Summary

To support a virtual cardiac rehabilitation program, the full-time New York Licensed Medical Assistant will monitor patient vitals, manage remote practice operations, and assist with the virtual cardiac exercise program while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor RPM vitals dashboard, initiate patient outreach for abnormal readings, and log CCM time in eClinicalWorks
• Moderate weekly virtual cardiac exercise classes, ensuring patient safety and documenting attendance
• Oversee patient onboarding workflows and prepare charts in eClinicalWorks, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical, telehealth, or care management setting
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) for documentation and care plan management
• Working knowledge of chronic disease management programs, specifically CCM and RPM
• Experience in cardiology or cardiac-focused telehealth settings is preferred
