New York Licensed Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a growing primary care team, the part-time New York Licensed Medical Assistant will provide virtual check-in and check-out support, assist with patient care coordination, and manage administrative tasks while working remotely for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide live video and phone support for patients, including check-in and check-out assistance
• Coordinate care for patients by scheduling appointments and managing referrals
• Support the Care Team by collecting medical information and ensuring compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care, urgent care, or multi-specialty clinic
• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) with a post-interview language assessment required
• Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma
• HIPAA compliant private workspace at home
• Availability to complete 3 weeks of full-time training during regular business hours
