Job Summary

Leading a large remote team of medical professionals, the full-time New York Licensed Medical Director will ensure the accuracy and quality of assessments while managing hiring, training, and quality assurance initiatives within a managed care system.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of assessments and medical determinations
• Hiring, training, and managing a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
• Leading various quality assurance initiatives and providing consultation on complex cases

Required qualifications

• Licensure in New York as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy
• Board Certification, ideally in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• At least 5 years of leadership experience
• Deep knowledge of Long Term Services and Supports
• New York residency
