Job Summary
To provide scientific and medical direction, the remote New York Licensed Medical Director will maintain expert understanding of clients' products, develop actionable insights, and oversee creative deliverables while collaborating with senior medical and client service staff.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain expert understanding of clients' product approved Prescribing Information and monitor relevant disease categories for updates
- Develop skills in identifying actionable scientific and clinical insights for medical strategy and assist in market research plans
- Provide medical and scientific direction for projects, ensuring alignment of creative deliverables with medical insights
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences: PhD or MD (preferred), may consider PharmD
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare communications, medical education, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience translating scientific data into presentation formats and live presentations to various audiences
- Authorship in peer-reviewed publications or presentation of abstracts at major scientific/medical conferences preferred
- Understanding of biochemical mechanisms, clinical research, and statistical analyses
